TRANSCRIPT:

“ [JJ carefully moisturises his face with open palms. He concentrates on his cheecks and the bridge of his nose. The man next to him speaks directly into JJ’s microphone and faces the camera] … before, I didn’t have people telling me this. All this. I had people telling me the wrong things that almost got me- you feel me? [JJ rubs his hands together and bends over to rub his hands through the back of his hair] So, if anything, I’d tell you to stay out the streets and do this. This would be the best thing you’d do in life. This right here. Or, anything positive with your life. And, staying off the streets is the best thing, man. ‘Cuz it’s not fun. Once you die beeping to it, you’d realize it’s not fun. And. that’s my thing for the youth, for the kids, I wanna see people, out here, making it and I don’t discriminate. I’m cool with everybody and I’m down to earth and I’m a real lit person. I’m lit. Once you get to know me, you know I’m lit, I’m cool. Hurricane, hurricane- But, yeah! That’s the best thing I could say to the youth, really. [JJ rubs his forehead and then plays close attention to the sides of his face]”
